Can I Build a Boat?

Anyone with limited DIY skills and enthusiasm can build a boat.  

The building notes provided take away the mystery of boat building. 

There are very few requirements you need to build a boat, so there is no huge outlay. 

The first requirement is space, you will need a flat clean area to layout, mark out, assemble and construct. 

As you can see the list below is not extensive, nor does it include a lot of expensive power tools. I expect most DIY people will already own or have access to these. 

Tools:
- Jig Saw
- Hand Drill
- Pliers
- Hand Saw
- Saw Horse / Work Table

Consumables:
- Cable ties or copper twist wire for temporary joins
- Sand Paper
- Screws (included in kit)
